When the paint is part of what the car is worth, the work is worth doing properly. And worth doing where you can watch it, instead of leaving the car at a shop for three days.

Correction is the job, not the upsell

On most cars, paint correction is optional. On a car where the finish is part of the value, it is the whole point. And it is also the step most likely to be done badly.

Correction removes clear coat. That is what it is: controlled levelling of the surface to take out swirls, scratches and oxidation. Done well it transforms a car. Done carelessly it costs you material you cannot get back, and on a high-value finish that is an expensive mistake.

So we gauge paint depth before touching it, work in stages rather than chasing perfection in one pass, and stop where the finish stops improving. If a defect is deeper than the clear coat can safely give up, we will tell you it stays. Because the alternative is burning through an edge on a car worth serious money.

Why the coating goes on last, and only after

A ceramic coating is permanent in every way that matters for several years. Whatever the paint looks like underneath is what you have locked in.

That is why we will not coat a car that has not been corrected first unless you have decided that deliberately. Sealing swirls under a nine-year coating is paying to preserve the thing you wanted removed. Prep is most of the cost on a job like this, and it should be.

Done at your house, not at a shop

The practical argument for mobile on this kind of car is simple: it never leaves. No handing keys to someone you have not met, no shuttle driver, no three days of wondering where it is parked overnight, no transport risk in either direction.

We work in your garage or driveway. You can stand there and watch the correction happen under the light, which is the only way to actually judge whether it was done.

"Zach was onsite on time and did an amazing job at a great value. My truck has a high end wrap and he did a great job maintaining it and keeping it safe as he cleaned it."

Scottsdale FAQs

Do you measure paint thickness before correcting?
Yes, on every correction and especially on high-value or repainted panels. A depth gauge tells us how much clear coat there is to work with, which decides how aggressive we can safely be. We would rather leave a defect than take a panel past what it can afford.
Should I correct before coating, or is that just an upsell?
Correct first, genuinely. A coating locks in whatever finish is under it for the life of the coating. Putting a multi-year coating over swirl marks means paying to preserve them. If you would rather skip correction for budget reasons that is a fair choice, but it should be a decision rather than a surprise.
Can you work in a gated community or on a private property?
Yes. We just need to be on the access list and have room to work around the vehicle. Let us know the arrangement when you book so nothing holds things up at the gate.
Why mobile instead of dropping it at a shop?
The car never leaves your property. No transport risk, no handing keys to a stranger, no wondering where it is parked overnight, and you can watch the correction under the light rather than taking someone's word for it.
