What paint correction actually fixes

Every time a car is washed carelessly, dried with the wrong towel, or brushed by an automatic car wash, thousands of microscopic scratches are left in the clear coat. Individually they're invisible; together they scatter light and make paint look hazy, swirled, and tired — especially under the harsh Arizona sun, which also oxidizes neglected clear coat over time.

Paint correction is the controlled, machine-polishing process that levels those defects out of the clear coat entirely. It's not a wax hiding the damage for a few weeks — the defects are gone.

Single-stage or multi-stage?

Lightly swirled daily drivers usually need a single-stage polish: one refined pass that removes the haze and restores gloss. Paint with deeper scratches, heavy swirling, or oxidation calls for multi-stage correction — a cutting compound to remove the damage, followed by finer polishing steps to bring the finish to a mirror. We inspect your paint first and tell you honestly which one your car needs.

One thing to know: corrected paint is bare and beautiful — and unprotected. Most customers pair correction with a paint sealant, or lock it in for years with a ceramic coating.
